The ARENAL VOLCANO is one of the most exciting tours available, where you get to see some of the different examples of our country side. On the way to the hot springs you see our first attraction, Lake Arenal which is generally accepted as the second best place in the world for wind surfing. It is also a perfect place to fish, sail and for powerboat sightseeing tours.

The Arenal Volcano is a part of the Arenal Conservation Area. The park was established on September 26, 1994 . The 12,016 hectares of the Arenal Volcano National Park includes the cantons of Tilarán (Guanacaste), San Carlos and San Ramón (Alajuela).

Driving around the lake we will find a Tropical Rain Forest, the Botanical Gardens and the Butterfly Farm. All of these are optional tours on the way to Tabacon Hot Spring Resort, but first we will take you to the majestic La Fortuna Water Fall, a magnificent white water experience, and afterwards we will visit the typical town of La Fortuna where you can enjoy the warmth of the Costa Rican people. Finally we will reach the skirts of the Arenal Volcano. At the resort you will enjoy the relaxing natural hot springs, surrounded by beautiful gardens; then sit tight to watch the awesome volcano activity with its impressive lava eruptions and huge fumaroles.
