What fishing trips do you offer?
We provide half-day and full-day fishing charters that target blue marlin and other thrilling fish species. Whether you’re new to fishing or a seasoned angler, our trips are tailored to suit all skill levels.
What do this charters include?
Include all the fishing equipment, baits, beers, waters, sodas (this adjusts to the clients preferences), snacks and in the case of the full day, lunch.
What gear do you supply?
We supply premium fishing equipment, including rods, reels, and tackle, all fine-tuned for blue marlin fishing. Our gear is meticulously maintained to ensure top-notch performance.
Do we need a fishing license?
It depends of the zone, for Papagayo Gulf and Tamarindo the fishing licenses are included. In the case of Quepos and Flamingo you have to pay for it.
What do we need to bring to our fishing charter?
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and snacks or drinks if you’d like. Comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes are also highly recommended for safety.
Do you pick us up at our hotel?
Yes, we usually pick you up on the beach in front of your hotel.
How many people can join the charter?
Our boats typically accommodate 2–6 passengers. Larger groups can book multiple boats for a seamless fishing experience.
What happens when the weather isn't good?
We try to reschedule and if it isn’t possible to do so, the tour is canceled and you will have a refund.
Do I need to buy my own travel insurance?
You choose the departure time but we usually recommend you to go early in the morning, from 7:00 am to 7:30 am.
Are the prices per boat or per person?
All the prices are per boat, nevertheless boats have a maximum capacity, if you have more people than the maximum allowed you would have to pay an additional
per person (this maximum usually is 5 people).
Can I practice catch-and-release?
Yes! We encourage sustainable fishing and offer catch-and-release options for guests who want to protect marine life while enjoying the sport.
When is the best season for blue marlin fishing?
The North Pacific coast sees peak fishing from November to March, while the Central Pacific coast shines from September to November. That said, our charters are available year-round.
Are fishing trips family-friendly?
Absolutely! Families, including kids, are welcome. Our crew creates a safe and fun experience for everyone on board, regardless of age or skill level.
